Welcome to the 2020 Virtual Connection Schedule
This virtual connection is open to all ALA Gateway Members as well as other decision-makers and decision-influencers within their firms. We know promotional items are a big hit at expo so for attending any one of the sessions below you will receive a special gift from all of the participating business partners.
Be sure to sign up for each event individually below and add to your calendars. Plus, we encourage decision-makers and decision-influencers within your firms to attend.

A Sandwiched Superhero!
Adults in the “sandwich generation” are faced with the overwhelming task of raising children while caring for elderly parents. It requires a great deal of understanding to make decisions about services and options for our aging parents. In this educational session, attorney Courtney Mitchell will discuss the critical issues related to caregiving, housing, medical and financial preparation.

VIRTUAL SCAVENGER HUNT
Dawn will display an item on her shared screen. Participants must go find the item within their office/households and bring it back to the Zoom call. Participant teams may include anyone in the household if you are working from home. Scoring will be based on the order in which participants bring back the items and show them on screen.
To keep the hunt moving, participants will only have one minute to find each item. If you know for certain you don’t have something, just let Dawn or Emily know that you are out of that round. There will be an official timer on the screen to keep track.
- Participants can’t take the phone or computer you’re using with you.
