DESCRIPTION
Movement for becoming green is now incorporated into various areas in our marketplace, and we have an opportunity to ride the “sustainability” wave in order to stay relevant as part of our community. Kousuke will share some sustainability trends in the legal community, as well as the emerging concept of “Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” to help enhance our corporate role in society.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
In this session, you will learn:

  • What is meant by Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • The practical business and social benefit to incorporating sustainability practices.
  • How to practice sustainability at your firm.

PARKING AND SECURITY
Complimentary private parking is available off of Forsyth Blvd. (7720 Forsyth Blvd.). The entrance to the parking garage is on Forsyth directly across from the Clayton firehouse. It is set back from the street and next to Lola and Penelope's Pet Boutique. Please park on one of the first three levels in the designated visitor parking area. Be sure to carry your parking pass with you for validation by the firm's receptionist. Take the garage elevators to the Lobby level, proceed across the courtyard and enter the lobby of Centene Plaza. Upon entering you will be required to check in at the ALA registration table on your left. You will be given a name tag (must be worn and visible at all times) before proceeding to our reception area on the 18th Floor. Please allow a few extra minutes for this process. When you leave, make sure to have your validated parking ticket with you. As you are leaving the garage, place the validated ticket into the ticket machine. Once it reads the ticket, the arm will lift up and then you can proceed to exit the garage. Click here for parking and security information and a printable map of the area.

COST
Complimentary for ALA and Business Partners (2 reps) and $25 for other Law Firm Guests.
