What is your ALA Gateway Journey Passport?
Gather points as you journey through ALA events throughout the year.  Log points in your “Passport” to win the ultimate prize of “The Journey of St. Louis, the Gateway City.” 

Before you Travel Abroad.
Earning points is easy.  All you need to do is PARTICIPATE, VOLUNTEER and MAKE NEW FRIENDS.  We are embarking on the second year of your ALA Journey where you earn points to win prizes.  The winner of “The Journey of St. Louis, the Gateway City” will be announced at the Annual Holiday Luncheon each December. 

Important Things to Remember About Your Passport.
We are confident that you will enjoy making new friends, as well as the knowledge you gain along your journey. There are many ways to earn points.  Below is an outline of how points will be earned and calculated.

Three Points
Attend Monthly Educational Meetings
Join a Committee
Write an Article for the Chapter Newsletter
Volunteer and/or Attend Charity Event (i.e. Let's Start Events)
Attend Social Events
Participate in Annual Salary Survey

Five Points
Attend Business Partner Expo
Attend Law Leader Event
Mentors – Attend an Event with your Mentee
Attend Business Partner Appreciation Event
Attend WLA Breakfast and Donate an Item
Attend Diversity Pride Parade

Ten Points
Meet with a Business Partner
Bring in a New Business Partner
Bring in a New Member
Attend Annual or Regional Conference

Important Things to Remember About Recording Points.
In order to make sure that your points are recorded, you will need to email membership@ala-gateway.org for any activity you participate in or do outside of the events that you register for on the ALA website.

When You Reach 50 Points in your ALA Journey Passport.
Receive $10 Visa Gift Card

When You Reach 75 Points in your ALA Journey Passport.
Receive $25 Visa Gift Card

When You Reach 100 Points in your ALA Journey Passport.
Receive $100 Visa Gift Card and will be entered to win the ultimaate prize of "The Journey of St. Louis, the Gateway City"
