Join ALA Gateway, LMA, and Business Partners for a State of St. Louis Report. The Power of Tourism: An overview of the current state of St. Louis’ economic engine, including the competitive position of the America’s Center Convention Center Complex.

Vue 17 is located on the 17th floor of the University Tower Building across from the Galleria in Brentwood, Missouri. Parking is complimentary on the surface lot or in the garage.

CERTIFICATION APPROVALS
CLMR App Credit for Functional Specialists: 1 hour in the subject area of Legal Industry/Business Management (LI) towards the additional hours required of some Functional Specialists to fulfill the CLM application.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Kitty Ratcliffe
President, Explore St. Louis

Kathleen Ratcliffe is the president of Explore St. Louis, responsible for the sales and marketing of St. Louis as a destination for visitors and the operations of both the Convention Center and the Dome at America's Center. In 2006, she returned to the St. Louis CVC where she was a convention sales executive from 1985-1989.

Kitty has served in Board leadership positions for a number of industry organizations and is a past international Chairwoman of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and a recipient of their International Supplier of the Year Award, and most recently served as Co-Chair for the 2016 Convening Leaders Content Committee for the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA). She has received numerous awards and recognition throughout her career, including recognition by the Destination Marketing Association International for Leadership in Environmentally Responsible Tourism, and being named as one of the Most Influential Businesswomen in St. Louis by the St. Louis Business Journal, as a Leader of Distinction by the YWCA of Metro St. Louis, a Regional Leadership Award from the St. Louis Community Empowerment Foundation and an Athena Award from the Hellenic Spirit Foundation. She serves on various local boards including the St. Louis Science Center Board of Commissioners; Grand Center, Inc. Board; the St. Louis Mosaic Project, Downtown STL Inc. CID Board, St. Louis Regional Chamber Board and the St. Louis Civic Pride Foundation Board.

Dedicated to growing and strengthening the economy of the St. Louis region through tourism development, she believe that St. Louis is a community on the rise.
