ALA Region 3 Conference & Expo.
The ALA Region 3 Educational Conference & Exposition will be held October 15-16, 2010, at The Drake Hotel in Chicago. The Drake Hotel on Michigan Avenue is only 18 miles from O’Hare International Airport. Shuttle service from the airport is available for $27 per person each way. Reservations at the ALA rate are not open yet, but for budgetary purposes, the following applies:

Laclede’s Landing. This historic riverfront district is named after Pierre Laclede, the man who founded St. Louis. Take a walk on the cobblestone streets or a horse-drawn carriage ride. The Cyber Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators is pleased to announce an ONLINE CLM STUDY GROUP
You can now access CLM study materials and listen to actual study group presentations at your own convenience. Presented in conjunction with the Mile High (Denver) Chapter, these online sessions will now allow an ALA member to have access to study group materials regardless of their geographic location. Materials will be available in PDF form. Audio files can be downloaded to your computer, then transferred to CD, iPod, or other device or media for use as the student desires. Group members will have access to a CLM group discussion forum to share ideas, questions or other comments.
